Initially called Coretec Engineering, the company was created from the initiative of two Liège engineers, Sébastien Ryhon and Thierry Carrette, both of whom were committed to implementing energy-saving solutions. In 2008, Pierre-Yves Dozo joined the adventure and developed the activity of energy purchase management, under the name Coretec Invoicing. Years passed and the service portfolio and number of references grew. In 2015, the various activities of the company were restructured under a single name: Coretec Energy, while it developed internationally.
From a turnover of € 1,000,000 in 2006, Coretec Energy rose to € 12 million in 2012 to reach the figure of € 25 million in 2016. The company now has over 40 employees.
